Child Health Center |
| An MCH Centre was established at village Gharibwal at a cost of about Rupees one million in 1994. This centre serves people of Gharibwal and nearby villages where there are no medical facilities. The centre is housed in a 9 rooms building and has been equipped with essential facilities.The centre provides health care for mothers, and children up to the age of five years. It also serves as a centre for information and communication, health education, and population welfare. Raj Bukhsh Health Centre is staffed by a Lady Doctor (weekly visit), a full time Lady Health Visitor (LHV) and a midwife. |

| Over 3000 women and children receive medical treatment at this centre every year. In 2002 and 2003 Pakistan Red Crescent Society Punjab granted Rs. 60,000/- to help meet running costs of the centre. National Trust for Population Welfare (NATPOW) also supported the MCH Centre for provision of population welfare services, in 1998-99. |
